More painting and beaver panel
Painted more of the floor in flat black rust gaurd. Had the paint coming out of the gun even nicer. Much less overspray.
You can see it in the photo, but I also rust gaurded the inside of the replacement rear beaver panel I made up. So it was now ready for fitting. You can see the seam at the rear of load tray in the first shot above looks a bit ragged. The original seam cover was nearly rusted away, and the seam wasn't much better. So I decided to take it off and go for a smooth bum.
You probably won't see much of it when the bumber ends go on, and the number plate holder.
Still it's a good feeling to have fabricated such a complicated panel with no fancy tools, just bare hands and noggin. Found a couple of pics of me bending it up last year using my trolly and some G-clamps:
