Lots of welding

Ran out of the mini spool of MIG wire today. I think that's a kg of wire in 2 weekends. Nearly out of argoshield too (Argon MIG gas for).

So I quickly tallied up all the welding I have done so far:

Total of ~8.1m if panel beads (probably some I'm forgetting).

Might invest in a full size spool of wire this time, depending on the price.

I know i've got at least another 3m of panel welding to do.

Cancer sill

I took the grinder to what I knew to be one of the worst bits on the
car: LH side rear part of floor/sill.

Look at all that flakey rust. And the patch that someone braised on at
some point. Why oh why didn't they treat the rust when they did that
patch?

I spent the time to undo the spot welds a keep all the original firewall
panel intact.

Ribs don't line up perfectly, replacement pan was for a clubby I
believe.

LH rear wheel arch

While finishing up the outer skin, I discovered that some of the wheel arch and surround was paper thin and difficult to weld. So cut out and fabricated replacement.
